About Us
This site is all about occupations and employers in the South Central region of Minnesota*. This information will help you find out what careers and industries are growing and what skills are needed.
Choosing your career is a bit of trial and error. Most people begin their career path by enrolling in a program without considering the local labor market. You might graduate from a two or four year program only to find jobs don't exist in the place you want to live. That's why using labor market information and connecting you to employers in the region is important. So, if you are a high school student, a college student, or someone looking to change careers, then you're in the right place!
Information included on this website comes primarily from the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) and ISEEK. Information about local events and services is provided by partners in the workforce system including the South Central Workforce Council, the Region Nine Development Commission, the South Central Service Cooperative, and local chambers of commerce and schools.
* The South Central region includes Blue Earth, Brown, Faribault, Le Sueur, Martin, Nicollet, Sibley, Waseca, and Watonwan counties.
